Emrah Artukmac, a lifelong resident of New York, received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from New York University. Thereafter, he obtained a Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School where he served as an associate editor of the Albany Law Environmental Outlook.
Mr. Artukmac served as an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County under James M. Catterson, Jr. and Thomas J. Spota where, during his tenure, he was assigned to the District Court, East End, Case Advisory, and Economic Crimes Bureaus. During his tenure as a prosecutor, Mr. Artukmac gained extensive investigative and trial experience.
Mr. Artukmac's experiences in the public sector have allowed him to forge invaluable relationships with law enforcement and governmental agencies. It is this diverse background that allows the Firm to effectively guide clients with a varied array of legal concerns.
Mr. Artukmac is licensed to practice in New York, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Mr. Artukmac is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, Suffolk County Criminal Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
